  • Trion Properties has appointed Johnny De La Espriella as president of property management. A nationally recognized leader in the multifamily housing industry, De La Espriella brings more than 20 years of experience scaling operations and driving performance across diverse residential portfolios. 
  • Scott Smith has joined JLL’s Value and Risk Advisory platform as a Senior Director based in Los Angeles. As part of the West Region multi-housing team, Smith will focus primarily on California multi-housing property appraisals. He joins JLL from Curtis-Rosenthal, Inc. where he was an associate director, commercial real estate appraiser.  
  • Colliers and Uncommon Developers have added John Barganski as Uncommon’s strategic advisor for the 601 S. Figueroa office tower (Figueroa at Wilshire) in Downtown Los Angeles. Following Uncommon Developers’ recent acquisition of the 52-story high-rise, Barganski will collaborate with Colliers’ Integrated Advisory Services Team and exclusive leasing advisors for the property, vice chair Matthew Heyn and EVP Ian M. Gilbert, to execute an aggressive leasing and repositioning strategy. 
  • Cushman & Wakefield has hired Chase Tagen as a managing director in the firm’s National Debt & Equity practice. Based in the Century City office, Tagen brings more than 12 years of capital markets experience and has executed more than $30 billion in transactions, including programmatic joint ventures, recapitalizations, GP-led secondaries, GP stakes and capital raising efforts across a broad spectrum of asset classes.  
  • Cushman & Wakefield has also hired Conor Flannery as executive vice chair, based in Silicon Valley. Bringing more than 20 years of experience in occupier services and tenant representation, Flannery joins Cushman & Wakefield from JLL with a proven track record of negotiating complex real estate transactions globally. 
  • Range Equity Management, L.P. (REM), a real estate investment management company focused on operational real estate opportunities, has hired Monica Scieszka as a principal in Los Angeles. In her new role, Scieszka will help lead the firm’s investment strategy, asset management, operations and investor relations. She joins REM following six years at Dune Real Estate Partners in New York City and Los Angeles. 
  • Brad Fox has joined SRS Real Estate Partners as an SVP. Based in the firm’s Inland Empire office, Fox will lead the growth of SRS’ industrial services in one of the most significant logistics and distribution markets in the country. A results-driven professional, Fox has closed more than $330 million in transactions throughout the Inland Empire.  
  • 1031 CF Properties, a leading sponsor in senior housing Delaware Statutory Trusts (DSTs), launched its latest offering, Senior Housing DST 11, a 162-unit, 197-bed assisted living and memory care portfolio. The offering includes three communities in McKinney, TX; Longwood, FL; and Oklahoma City, each selected for its positioning within growing senior housing markets. 
  • Tokyu Land US Corporationwho has deployed over $1 billion of equity in commercial real estate across their target markets since 2012, is seeking an AVP, Asset Management in Los Angeles, CA.  The focus of the role will be on overseeing third-party property management firms and ensuring business plans for the assets are executed, maintaining relationship with JV partners, and collaborating with the acquisitions team.  The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of direct asset management experience, preferably in an institutional setting, with a focus on multifamily and industrial assets.
