Creating content that attracts your ideal clients doesn’t have to be complicated or overly time-consuming! It can be easy and fast. So easy and fast, in fact, that you can map out the content for your platform in a matter of minutes.
Now, I know you’re busy. You have a life and kids and a job or a business and don’t have the time to spend hours every day coming up with what to post on social media or what content you’re going to create next. Here’s a list of tips for creating content in a fast and easy way.
1. BATCH PRODUCE
Basically, create a bunch of content all at once. I encourage you to schedule specific days for creating content in bulk. Let me give you an example.
One day, when we were addressing these problem/solution frameworks with our team, Rick, our marketing director, suggested carving out an afternoon for me to answer a bunch of questions related to membership sites. We blocked out three hours for this. The process was simple: Rick asked me questions off-camera, and I answered them one after the other while the camera was focused on me. This resulted in a wealth of content (tons of short videos) that we could then schedule. The same approach can work for you too. Try to think about creating content for two or three months at a time, providing you with a buffer and enough breathing room to engage with your audience effectively. Do it once, and focus on something else.
2. HAVE SOMEONE OFF-CAMERA ASK YOU QUESTIONS TO MAKE THE PROCESS FEEL MORE NATURAL AND FLUID
If you don’t have someone physically present, you can use a Zoom meeting and record the conversation. There are lots of ways to achieve this, and the details of how you implement it aren’t nearly as important as just actually doing it. It’s essential to maximize your efficiency.
Pro tip: After someone asks you the question off-camera, repeat it in your response. So for example, if someone asked me, “What’s the most effective way to boost retention?” I would respond with, “The most effective way to boost retention is . . .” and then I’d go into my response. Make sense? Doing this means your videos aren’t dependent on the “question” being in the video, and it speeds up the process when publishing that content.
3. PRODUCE CONTENT IN MULTIPLE FORMATS
But hold on now, Stu. You say I should pick one platform! That’s true, but hear me out. You don’t have to create any more content than just what you’ve done. For example, if you create video content, use tools to automatically generate audio versions and transcripts. They do the heavy lifting. This way, you can cater to different audience preferences and expand your reach effectively. One piece of content can become a video clip, audio clip, and even posts and captions with the transcripts. Work smarter, not harder, friends.

4. MAKE BITE-SIZED CHUNKS OF CONTENT
Shorter, easily digestible content keeps people engaged and interested. Your audience will get into the content a lot easier if you have five 10-minute videos vs. one 60-minute video. You want them to be able to finish consuming your content in just a few minutes and walk away with a quick win, something actionable to do, or something inspiring to think about. If you can answer people’s questions and help them make progress faster and easier, the better it will be!
5. ENSURE THAT YOUR CONTENT REMAINS EVERGREEN
Avoid referencing specific dates or time-sensitive events that can quickly make your content feel outdated. Focus on principles and concepts that are timeless. You want this content to work for your audience for years. If you reference a worldwide event that happened “yesterday” in your video and a potential customer is watching it two years later, they’ll assume the content isn’t relevant anymore, even if it is.

6. DON’T OVERLOOK THE VALUE OF REPURPOSING CONTENT
You likely already have a repository of great content that you can refresh with new examples, insights, or stories. The base of the lesson can remain the same while you present it in different formats or mediums. You can turn the audio of a video into a podcast episode and then take the transcripts and turn that into a blog post and/or captions for an Instagram post. Then take the most interesting snippet of the video and make a TikTok. 7. REPOST, REPOST, REPOST
Social media platforms will never show your content to 100 percent of the people who are following you. So when you find a post that resonates, post it again—exactly as you did the first time! And as I write this chapter and look at my Instagram feed, I can tell you that one reel I posted two days ago has almost as many views, more comments, and about half as
many “saves” as it did when I originally posted it over 30 days ago. So when you find a winner, keep it in a library of your go-to posts and consistently reuse it.

2. Can you now please help me generate [X] number of ideas for the first category? I’d like to focus on common problems, challenges, fears, desires, goals, or questions people have. I’d like to include a short, curiosity-driven hook, followed by a subheadline that gives a little more context.
3. Can you please provide 3 talking points for each idea in the [topic] category?
If you start doing some research, you’re going to see that there’s an endless number of ideas for content. This will provide the foundation for our framework for producing content the easy way. From your research, brainstorm as many different problems, challenges, and questions as you can imagine.
