Chad Tredway Named Global Head of Real Estate at J.P. Morgan Asset Management


J.P. Morgan Asset Management is promoting its Americas head of real estate, Chad Tredway, to become global head of real estate. Tredway will oversee the firm’s real estate operations across the Americas, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.  

Tredway will report to Jed Laskowitz, global head of private markets and customized solutions at JPMAM. David Chen, CIO and head of Asia-Pacific real estate, and Michael Ramm, CIO and head of European real estate, will both report to Tredway. 

“I am thrilled to be expanding my role within the real estate organization,” Tredway said in a statement. “Real estate is expected to be a key growth driver in the next phase of the cycle, and our global real estate platform will continue to provide clients with innovative solutions to meet their evolving investment needs.” 

J.P. Morgan Asset Management manages $3.7 trillion in assets globally, including more than $79 billion in real estate investments.

Tredway spent 13 years at J.P. Morgan within its real estate banking and commercial lending teams before founding real estate investment manager Trio Investment Group in 2021. J.P. Morgan then acquired Trio Investment Group in 2024, and Tredway rejoined J.P. Morgan as head of real estate for the Americas.  

Tredway earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Loyola University Chicago.
