- JLL has appointed Robert Koshgarian as National Director of Sports and Entertainment within Project and Development Services, based in the Los Angeles area. As the national lead, Koshgarian will spearhead a diverse array of projects, including professional sports venues, collegiate assets, youth and developmental program spaces.
- Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, welcomed commercial real estate debt and equity specialist Chase Calderon as first VP. Based in Encino, Calderon is joining the Matthews Capital Markets Division, where he will provide commercial financing solutions nationwide across all product types.
- Standard Communities, a leading national multifamily housing owner and developer, has named Christiana Hollis as Managing Director, Strategy and Operations. She will focus on strategy development, enterprise execution, and will lead cross-functional efforts to build scalable processes, strengthen the company’s structural foundation, and align teams and systems to support Standard’s next phase of growth. Hollis is based in Los Angeles.
- Trinity Investments, a Los Angeles-based hospitality-focused real estate investor, promoted Stephany Chen to head of investor relations, effective immediately. Chen previously served as SVP of acquisitions. Before joining Trinity in July 2024, she spent more than a decade in JLL’s Hotels and Hospitality Group within the U.S. Global Hotels Desk.
- Global design firm HKS hired Mitra Memari to serve as Regional Director for Community in the firm’s Americas West Region. Based in Los Angeles, Memari will lead strategic growth and regional coordination efforts for HKS’s Health, Education and Life Science practices, while working closely with firmwide and regional leaders to align talent, strengthen partnerships and expand the firm’s impact across the western U.S.
- Greysteel appointed Cody Cannon as SVP and market executive. His dual role involves leading the manufactured housing team nationally, with a focus on market share growth in California, as well as leading all operations for the firm’s Southern California business, including supporting advisors across asset types and attracting new talent to Greysteel’s platform.
- Garett Bjorkman was appointed CEO of PEG and Founder Cameron Gunter will transition to the role of Executive Chairman, stepping back from daily operations to focus on guiding the company’s strategic direction following more than two decades of hands-on leadership. Before joining PEG, Bjorkman led a $10-billion real estate credit platform at CIM Group and launched a $2.5-billion private wealth-focused real estate and infrastructure strategy.
- FortressFire, a provider of wildfire analytics and property-specific wildfire risk management services, has named Hemant Shah as vice chairman of the board and senior advisor. Shah is the founder and former CEO of Risk Management Solutions, a leading catastrophe risk modeling company, which was acquired by Moody’s Corporation in 2021.
- Arup, a global leader in engineering, consulting and design for the built environment, today appointed Scott Russell as managing director of the firm’s Americas region. Russell’s appointment is part of a broader evolution in the region’s leadership team. Joining him are Melissa Burton as Americas Total Design Leader and Jenny Buckley as Americas Business and Markets Leader.
