Merchants Capital has appointed Brandon Conway as Executive Vice President of Tax Credit Equity Asset Management. Brandon will be based in Merchants Capital’s Carmel, Indiana, headquarters. Conway brings more than 20 years of low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) asset management experience, including seven years of special assets and dispositions experience. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President at CREA, where he established a new department to resolve complex asset management issues.
Inland Mortgage Capital has added Ashley Szatkowski as vice president – credit administration. In her new role, Szatkowski will work closely with IMC’s President, Art Rendak, providing strategic leadership and oversight of all credit-related functions within the organization. Specifically, she will be responsible for managing the underwriting process, ensuring timely evaluations of new loan originations, and coordinating loan closings in collaboration with the closing group. She will also focus on developing and refining internal credit processes to enhance efficiency and responsiveness within IMC’s lending platform.

Matt Kleifges joins as Senior Director of Asset and Property Management. John Adam joins as Financial Controller, adding strength to Clear’s financial management and reporting capabilities. His expertise will be vital as the firm scales its operations and prepares for growth with Fund II. Additionally, Lindsay Rodriguez has been promoted to Director of Acquisitions. She will focus on identifying and securing strategic investment opportunities.
Faropoint, a tech-enabled real estate investment manager specializing in last-mile industrial properties in high population growth markets, has appointed Will Westhoff as Senior Vice President and Market Officer for the Midwest region. Westhoff will oversee acquisitions, asset management, and construction practices for Faropoint’s growing Midwest portfolio, which currently encompasses approximately 4 million square feet across 60 assets.
