Proper Title has hired Jeff Gross as president to expand its residential business beyond Illinois and Indiana as well as grow its national commercial services division. In this role, Gross will shape overall strategy while working in close partnership with Kathy Kwak, chief operating officer of Proper Title, as well as Kim O’Donnell and Dave Zawadzki, executive vice presidents of business development for the agency.

Partner Valuation Advisors announced the addition of Vytas Norusis, MAI, as executive vice president, based in Chicago. With over a decade of experience in industrial valuation and a deep specialization in the Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS) sector, Norusis will serve as the National Lead for Partner’s IOS Practice Group, guiding strategy and execution across markets. He joins from Colliers, bringing deep institutional credibility and a track record of appraising over $10 billion in industrial assets.

Kiser Group announced a new direct lending relationship with Regions Bank. The strategic alliance provides a streamlined path to financing, eliminating many of the complexities and delays typically associated with securing capital.

The Illinois Economic Development Corporation (formerly Intersect Illinois) appointed four new members to its board of directors: EY Chicago Managing Partner Kevin Cole, Huntington Bank Regional President Patrice DeCorrevont, Illinois Retail Merchants Association (IRMA) President and CEO Rob Karr, and J.P. Morgan Managing Director Maggie McGuire O’Brien.

Baird & Warner announced that veteran broker Peter Cummins has joined the firm as team lead of Cummins Advisors. With more than two decades of residential real estate experience and over $500 million in transaction volume, Cummin brings deep expertise and his long-standing reputation for integrity and client advocacy on Chicago’s North Shore.

Waterton has hired Sean Jacobson as senior vice president, portfolio management. Jacobson brings a track record of multifamily real estate investment experience to the team with a focus on real estate transactions, asset and portfolio management, acquisitions, and capital strategy across institutional investment platforms. He will be based in Chicago and report to Phil Lukowski, Managing Partner, Portfolio Management.
