PBoC flags risks from global fragmentation, as concerns remain about growth and price level at home

China’s central bank has said it will continue pursuing a “moderately loose” monetary policy to support the country’s economic recovery, while flagging the risks posed by global fragmentation alongside weak demand and price growth at homes.
The People’s Bank of China made the statement in a release on September 26 following a regular quarterly meeting attended by governor Pan Gongsheng and the bank’s monetary policy committee.
