  • Cushman & Wakefield announced that Kevin Lott has joined the firm as Managing Principal in the Tampa Bay region. As Managing Principal, Lott will lead Cushman & Wakefield’s 250 Tampa Bay associates, driving growth, enhancing client services and developing and recruiting industry leading talent. Over the course of his career, he has served as Vice President with Colonial Properties Trust; Managing Director of JLL; Managing Director of National Leasing at Bridge Investment Group; and, most recently, Managing Director, Equity Asset Management, at Trimont.
  • Lee & Associates C. Todd Everett closed the $6.5 million off-market sale of a West Palm Beach office building. Everett arranged the sale of Palm Beach Business Center on behalf of both the buyer and seller. EE Properties WPB LLC acquired the 801 Northpoint Parkway property from FLF 801 Northpoint LLC. Palm Beach Business Center is a 21,150-square-foot office building specializing in executive suites and virtual offices.
  • Publix Super Markets Inc. applied for a permit totaling $7.16 million to build a new, 51,908-square-foot grocery store at 10500 Ulmerton Road in Largo, where a current Publix stands. The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports the existing grocery store will be demolished and reconstructed. The existing store was 72,484 square feet and built in 1989.
  • Madison Communities, a fully integrated multifamily developer and operator, has completed Madison Fountains, a 276-unit apartment community in St. Johns County, Florida. Located at 75 Teigan Trail, just minutes from Jacksonville’s St. Johns Town Center, Madison Fountains offers studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences with modern interiors and a wide range of on-site amenities.
  • TruAmerica Multifamily recapitalized Runaway Bay, a 192-unit apartment community in central Pinellas County, Florida. Built in 1984, Runaway Bay is a garden-style apartment community featuring one- and two-bedroom units averaging 841 square feet. The property offers a suite of resident amenities, including a resort-style pool, clubhouse, fitness center, dog park, tennis court, and lakeside views.
