  • LQ Commercial continues to grow its team of next generation professionals with the addition of Associate Colleen Cleary to its Fort Myers headquarters office. Cleary brings two decades of media strategy and consumer relations expertise, positioning commercial real estate with the same strategic approach that has elevated major consumer and retail brands including Kroger, Target, OXO and Procter & Gamble.
  • Kolter Group has a church property just outside West Palm Beach under contract as it seeks approval for an apartment complex. The West Palm Beach Plans & Plats Review Committee will consider the plans for Alton West Palm. Kolter Group has the 8.54-acre site under contract from the Palm Lake Baptist Association. The developer filed a site plan for 320 apartments in eight stories.
  • River Oaks Properties (ROP) acquired 111-115 NE 40th Street in Miami’s renowned Design District for $27 million. The off-market, all-cash transaction represents ROP’s first acquisition in the Miami Design District and its third investment in South Florida. The 5,875-square-foot property is 100% leased to Rimowa and Birkenstock. Both tenants are secured under long-term triple-net leases.
  • Curran Young Construction is breaking ground on 5300 Summerlin Apartments, a $46 million affordable housing redevelopment in Fort Myers. The development spans 372,288 square feet across 8.5 acres and will transform an aging 172-unit property into 230 brand-new apartments across three modern buildings.
