Lifecore Biomedical: Inflecting Financials Over Next 3 Years (NASDAQ:LFCR)

This article was written by

I write about both public equities and credit with a focus primarily on special situations: reorgs, M&A, spinoffs, and stockholder activism. I spent close to 10 years at a large restructuring advisory firm working as a financial advisor on both international and domestic corporate restructurings and M&A transactions. I look to leverage my experience in restructuring to dissect unique corporate events, looking at things from a fundamental value perspective while also trying to understand the incentives of key parties. I primarily focus on small/micro cap opportunities and generally any opportunities that I view as underfollowed or misunderstood where I view there being a greater likelihood of market inefficiencies.I have experience across a broad range of sectors – consumer, financials, airlines, energy, software, pharmaceuticals, real estate, and others; however, I am constantly looking to expand my sector expertise by doing deep-dive analysis into individual companies and understanding their broader market landscapes.I originally got interested in value investing in college when I started reading Buffett’s shareholder letters and other classic value investing texts. I double majored in Finance and Accounting and earned my CPA license shortly after starting my career. I believe my experience in restructuring has given me strong technical skills to evaluate idiosyncratic opportunities, as well as direct experience working with management teams, boards, lenders, and other stakeholders involved in extraordinary corporate events.
