New York People and Company News, Week of June 13, 2025


  • Real estate advisory firm Park Madison Partners has made a series of senior leadership promotions, including the elevation of three partners to managing partner, and the expansion of its Executive Committee with two new appointments. Carrie Coulson Naik, Jack Koch, and Robert Kohn have been promoted to managing partner. Additionally, Partners Brian DiSalvo and John Sweeney have been appointed to the firm’s Executive Committee.  
  • The CRE Finance Council (CREFC) selected Leland F. Bunch III, Managing Director at Bank of America, as the Chair of the CREFC Executive Committee and the Board of Governors for 2025-2026 at its Annual Conference in New York City. Mr. Bunch, a 25-year veteran of the commercial real estate finance industry, has been actively involved in CREFC as a member for 20 years. He succeeds outgoing Chair Bob Foley, Partner at TPG Real Estate and CFO of TPG RE Finance Trust, Inc. Separately, CREFC announced that Lea Overby is the recipient of this year’s Woman of Distinction Award and Toby Cobb is the recipient of its Founders Award. CREFC revealed the award recipients at its Annual Conference in New York City. 
  • Global Student Accommodation (GSA) has appointed Jennifer Bitterman as CFO, based in New York. She joins GSA from Andover Properties, where she served as CFO since July 2023. 
  • Sustainable real estate finance company Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate (CounterpointeSRE) has appointed Fitch alumnus Huxley Somerville, as managing director to lead its asset management team across commercial mortgages, C-PACE (commercial property assessed clean energy) and energy transactions. Somerville spent 28 years at Fitch Ratings, most recently as head of North American CMBS where he grew an analyst pool of twenty at the end of the global financial crisis to a group of more than 70. 
  • X-Caliber Capital, an FHA-approved Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) lender and loan servicer, announced Adlana Buck has joined the firm as FHA chief underwriter. Buck brings nearly 25 years of experience in multifamily and HUD-insured lending. Previously, she served as the FHA Chief Underwriter for Capital One. 
  • ISS, a global leader in workplace experience and facility management and one of the largest employers in the world with 320,000 employees, has elevated Rene van Camp to the newly created role of Chief Hospitality Officer, ISS North America and Principal, Guckenheimer, the ISS culinary brand. In this new position, van Camp will be responsible for the overall strategy, innovation, and success of ISS’ integrated food and hospitality programs across the region.
