  • Belveron Partners, a privately held real estate investment management firm dedicated to preserving and creating affordable housing, named CIO Josh Plattner a partner in the firm.   • Rebecca Landau has joined Latham & Watkins LLP’s New York office as a partner in the real estate practice. Landau represents institutional lenders, financial institutions, and private capital providers in complex commercial real estate financings and structured transactions. Previously, she was with another international law firm. 
  • Spencer Planit has joined Adirondack Capital Partners as Director.  Based in Manhattan, Planit began his career at Winick Realty Group, where he represented some of New York’s most prominent landlords and developers.  He later joined RXR Realty on the ownership side, where he oversaw leasing and strategic oversight for a 1.2 million square-foot multi-market retail portfolio.  Most recently, he helped launch the investment sales division at RTL (formerly Winick Realty). 
  • North Bridge ESG LLC, a leading provider of real estate credit solutions, has appointed Benjamin Brandler as a managing director on the investments team. In this senior leadership role, Brandler will be responsible for overseeing the origination of new C-PACE assessment and the strategic management of North Bridge’s C-PACE portfolio. Brandler joins the firm with over two decades of experience in real estate debt capital markets, having most recently served as Executive Director and Senior Debt Portfolio Manager at Wells Fargo. 
  • In a move that bolsters the capabilities of its Real Estate, Land Use, and Public Practices, law firm Scarinci Hollenbeck, LLC has added Joseph DeMarco as Partner. DeMarco brings a unique perspective to the firm’s clients, with more than twenty years of experience serving public and private entities. As Somerset County Counsel and former municipal administrator for Bayonne and West New York, he has been directly involved in the redevelopment and governance issues that shape New Jersey communities.  
  • Pxt, a fast-scaling EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) firm specializing in EV charging, battery energy storage, and renewable infrastructure, appointed Kit Ahuja as its new Chief Growth & Operations Officer. Ahuja was most recently Vice President of Technology & Operations at Voltera, where he helped scale one of the industry’s largest dedicated charging infrastructure platforms. 
  • Girls Inc., the nation’s longest-running girls’ leadership organization, has appointed five new members to its Board of Directors — including Sayo Kamara, Associate Director on the commercial leasing team at The Durst Organization and Chairman of YM/WREA. Kamara is a rising leader in New York commercial real estate, currently advancing leasing strategies across millions of square feet in Manhattan, including One World Trade Center. Now, as part of Girls Inc.’s national board, he is bringing his expertise and passion for youth mentorship to help expand opportunities for the next generation. 
  • The Resiliency Company announced the launch of From Vulnerability to Value: A Risk Mitigation Playbook to Drive Resilient Development. Reportedly the first of its kind, it’s described as a framework designed to help building owners, developers, designers, contractors, investors and lenders manage climate-related risks with a strong, unified approach. The CRE Playbook has been developed through the convening of cross-sector leaders, including JLL, Ryan Companies and the Urban Land Institute.
