I spend a great deal of time attempting to be lighthearted, to spin very complicated topics into nuggets. Sometimes, it is easy. Sometimes, it isn’t

I keep going, because I realize the effect the right/wrong approach can affect your outcome. The most difficult thing is to separate these two things.

The first one is obvious, can be immediately observed. The second one may NOT be obvious on day 1. It may reveal itself later, and in many case, it is then too late to adjust. It will almost certainly be suboptimal. The actual financial product or strategy that you take? That will depend entirely on your understanding and our communication of those two bullet points.

Y’all know better, right? I am trying to get the BEST POSSIBLE outcome, every time, while still understanding that randomness is involved. If anything, my work is helping you separate those two bullet points.
