&Partners, a St. Louis-based hybrid broker/dealer launched by the former president and CEO of Wells Fargo Advisors, has added another advisor group from his former employer.
David Kowach’s &Partners posted on LinkedIn Monday that it has added Doug Walters and Patrick Hoene’s new 26East Private Wealth in Jupiter, Fla. They’re joined by senior relationship manager Julie Rapp. According to BrokerCheck, Walters left Wells Fargo after about nine years with the wirehouse, while Hoene left after about 12 years.
Their practice has now launched as an affiliate with &Partners and uses its custodian, Fidelity.
“26East Private Wealth brings extensive experience to support high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational families, entrepreneurs and business owners to help create lasting contributions that benefit families and communities,” &Partners wrote in the post.
According to its most recent Form ADV filing, &Partners has grown to $14.1 billion in client assets among over 80 partnered firms since launching in August 2023.
Well over half of those advisors have joined from Wells Fargo, according to data and insights firm RIA Growth Plus. There is also strong representation from advisors who left Edward Jones.
&Partners did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the most recent addition.
On its website and other materials, the RIA showcases advisor independence, which includes partnership in the firm, strong technology capabilities, and home office support from experienced advisors.
“We’re creating the firm we’ve always envisioned — one where advisors and their clients come before everything else,” Kowach says in a statement on the firm’s website. “We are committed to the opportunity to build something better with people we know and respect.”
According to its website, 26East Private Wealth offers wealth management, estate planning, trust, insurance, philanthropic planning and retirement plan consulting, among other services.
