Central bankers discuss lessons from post-Covid inflation surge at Summer Meetings

The need for forceful monetary policy to anchor expectations was among the key lessons of the post-Covid-19 surge in inflation, an official from an advanced economy central bank told the Central Banking Summer Meetings.
