  • Mohr Partners engaged industry veteran Jennifer Syx to collaborate on and help expand its economic development and incentives practice into a full-service North American platform. Syx spent more than two decades as an economic development officer for U.S. municipalities before transitioning to the private sector, where she has represented companies in negotiating mutually beneficial incentive packages.
  • Avison Young has announced the promotion of Sullivan Johnston to Senior Vice President out of the firm’s Austin office.  Johnston is a founding member of Avison Young’s Land, Development, and Industrial Advisory (LDI). She will represent a diverse range of clients, including institutional investors, private developers, corporate users, and landowners, in the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties and development parcels across Texas and the U.S. 
  • Steve Echols has joined its Project and Development Services (PDS) team as a Senior Vice President in JLL’s Dallas office. Echols joins JLL after 21 years with CBRE. He will apply his background across a range of commercial, industrial and retail properties to manage, design and deliver state-of-the-art solutions on behalf of JLL’s clients in the market. Throughout his 35-year career, Echols played a role on numerous multi-million-dollar capital improvement projects and represented clients including Preston Commons, Tollway Plaza, The Colonnade, 2100 McKinney, KBS and CBRE Global Investors.
  • Oxford Partners represented TF Warren Group in the purchase of the 104,957 square foot building located at 12001 Hirsch Rd, Houston, TX 77050. Oxford Partners’ Ryan Hartsell, Matt Rogers & Stephen Hazen represented the buyer while Carlton R. Anderson & Nathan Mai of Mohr Partners represented the seller.
  • Nina Farrell has been promoted to Executive Director within the Government and Education division of JLL Work Dynamics in Austin. Farrell leads the national advisory practice within the division, working with a team of experts dedicated to serving public sector and non-profit organizations, including federal, state and local governments. Farrell served as a real estate advisor for The University of Texas System, one of the country’s largest public university systems.
