The Caprock Group LLC announced Wednesday the appointment of Vivek Jindal as CIO, effective immediately. Jindal succeeds Richard Rock, a founding member of the multi-family-office registered investment adviser, who has been with Caprock for nearly 20 years.
Jindal joins from Corient, where he was head of growth and private markets. He joined Corient when it acquired Kore Private Wealth, where he served as CIO, in November 2022. Jindal previously was principal of investments at the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies and worked in manager due diligence at Blackstone.
“As we embark on Caprock’s next chapter of growth, Vivek’s proven leadership and expertise will elevate our investment platform, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional opportunities and value to our clients,” said Gregory Brown, Caprock’s co-CEO, in a statement.

The firm touts an endowment-like investment approach and manages more than $4 billion in platform investments, which include private equity, venture capital, real estate and private credit.
